Computer Accounts and Facilities

All students are eligible for Harvard computer and email accounts during their enrollment at Harvard Summer School. Claiming your HarvardKey activates your Faculty of Arts and Sciences (FAS) computer account for use at FAS computer labs on campus. Your HarvardKey also provides login access to Google Apps for Harvard and lets you open a Harvard Gmail account for use during your summer session. To activate your Harvard Gmail account, log in to HarvardKey and select “Manage Your Account”. These accounts are not eligible for extension beyond the summer session(s) for which you are enrolled. Please note that Harvard gmail accounts are optional and will terminate shortly after your summer session ends.

Summer School students can connect their own computers to the campus wired or wireless network. Computer labs and printers are also available in the Science Center and at 53 Church Street for those who prefer not to bring computer equipment with them over the summer. For more information, see Computer Accounts and Facilities on the Summer School website or contact Harvard University Information Technology

Printing

Printing is free at 53 Church Street if you have an FAS computer account. To print from any of the laser printers located in the Science Center, you must have both an FAS computer account and money in your printing budget.
