Residential Policies

Students living in on-campus housing agree to the terms of the Residence Agreement upon submission of the housing request or acceptance to the Harvard Secondary School Program, Pre-College Program, or Crimson Summer Academy. The terms are as follows:

Housing is contingent upon continued enrollment in Summer School courses and compliance with University rules and policies. Students must meet Massachusetts immunization requirements to live on campus. Students are responsible for payment of all housing and meal plan fees. Meal plans are required for students in on-campus residences.

Housing requests may not be guaranteed due to space limitations, and you may be assigned to a bedroom with another student. The Summer School reserves the right to make room changes as necessary. A student's housing may be terminated with 24 hours' notice if enrollment lapses or policies are violated.

The university may change room assignments as needed and reserves the right to amend housing policies and handbook guidelines. Violation of housing policies, rules, or regulations may result in termination of the student's housing contract without refund of fees paid.

By submitting a housing application, the student agrees to comply with the terms of occupancy as outlined in the HSS 2024 Student Handbook. Submission of the housing application constitutes agreement to the terms and conditions of Harvard Summer School housing.
